We want young mothers to know they have options, and there are people who want to raise their children. Working with Catholic Charities made everything so easy for us to have Sarah.”

The Spirit of Hope Award 2020 — Patty Gaffney Lavallo
The Spirit of Hope Award recognizes one who exemplifies the spirit that inspires hope through their dedication, leadership, and generosity. Patty’s passion for our mission, and her ability to build consensus with grace and humor helped guide us through some of our most challenging times. We celebrate Patty for sharing her Spirit of Hope with all of us and those we serve.
The Partner in Philanthropy Award 2020 – The Palumbos Family
The Partner in Philanthropy Award is presented to those who work tirelessly to support a cause or service of ours, and whose generosity inspires others to join them. Well beyond what the Palumbos family has generously given over the years, they have inspired hope and generosity in others. We are proud to call the Palumbos Family our partners in philanthropy.
Heart and Soul Award 2022 – Larry Farnand
The Heart and Soul Award is given to an individual who embodies our mission. Larry embodies the mission of the organization by giving his time, talents, and resources in a compassionate and generous way to help us walk alongside our clients on their journeys to living their best lives.
Community Champion Award 2022 – Finger Lakes Community Health
The Community Champion Award is given to a company or organization which has significantly advocated, supported, encouraged, and promoted a just and compassionate society for the individuals we serve. Finger Lakes Community Health reached out to offer their help to get our intellectually and developmentally disabled residents vaccinated against COVID-19 as soon as vaccines were available. Due to their compassion and support, our residents were among the first in the area to be vaccinated.
