Celebrate World Refugee Day with us

Rochester, NY… Held each year in June, World Refugee Day honors the strength and courage of millions of refugees around the world. It’s also an occasion to celebrate the benefit their diverse cultural expression brings to our communities. Rochester is proudly home to a growing and wide array of refugees, and agencies including Catholic Charities Family and Community Services have come together to celebrate with them on June 17. The event is free and open to the public.

When: Saturday, June 17

Time: 10am - 2pm

Where: Rochester International Academy, 1 Edgerton Park

Rochester’s celebration of World Refugee Day will include music and dance performances, activities for children, and vendors providing food from around the world.
